his truck was originally purchased by my Uncle in 1985. It is a true survivor shortbed with under 100,000 original miles; V8 305, Rochester 4bbl, Auto Trans, Custom Deluxe.

The truck has never been out of Louisiana or Mississippi, it was used as a Feed/Hardware hauler vehicle for most of its life and has been parked in our garage for 10 years. I drained the fuel tank, replaced the fuel pump and one fuel line, changed the oil, lubricated the cylinder walls, replaced the battery... and she fired right up and backed out of the garage. The pictures you see were taken just after i hosed the dust off. Update on transmission: the transmission was sluggish in reverse when i started the truck, but i have since replaced the fluid and it is now working great in fwd and reverse!

Known Issues: it's a factory AC truck, but the AC compressor locked up decades ago and was removed, the original radio is missing, the dash is cracking, surface rust is showing on the roof, exaust leak at header gasket, Body has a couple dents (as seen in pics) but all panels and paint is original. https://neworleans.craigslist.org/ct...354300192.html

The flat bed measures over 9ft long and over 7ft wide!

85 K5 Blazer, lifted, 35”tires. 14 bolt, 1 ton full floating rear axle, 8 Lug, 10 bolt front. 305ci engine, runs smooth. TH700R4 transmission, NP208 transfer case. Fenders and most problem areas are free from rust. I’ve had the truck for 17 years and just recently took it out of storage only to discover I don’t have the passion for it I once had. 1981 Chevy short bed step side C-10 pickup for sale. This has a straight 6 cylinder engine, and 3 on the tree manual transmission. It has brand new tires, and a 3" front spindle lowering kit, and 4" rear shackle/hanger lowering kit. All original parts are included to put back to original height if you prefer. The truck has factory AC, but the compressor and lines were removed, but are also included.

The truck had a repaint in the late 90's due to paint fade. Painted the original color. There was no body filler or patch panels installed that I know of at that time. The paint is a base/clear, with alot of the clear coming off in various places. The truck does have some rust, but pretty minimal compared to most.

It runs and drives good. Has a rattle on light deceleration in 3rd gear, I'm unsure if its a heat shield or maybe needing a U-joint? Otherwise, engine runs good, and cruises down the road nice. Bed floor is still in pretty decent shape. All lights work, brakes work great, and all the gauges work.

I had purchased this truck to do an LS V8 swap at some point, but unsure if I still want to move that direction. I decided to post it and see if there is any interest before I dive into any big project.

1982 GMC Sierra Grande 3500. 2wd, 4spd, 350, retired fire truck. 17,929 original miles.

This is my father in laws truck. It gets driven like twice a year for parades. Miles are original. It was purchased from Lander Fire Dept a few years ago.

Zero rust, and to my knowledge, everything is still functional on it. It has a 500 gal water tank in it. Pump, hoses, generator, all work. Huge winch on the front works too. Dash has one tiny crack in it. Otherwise, this thing is clean as hell.

No clue what to really ask for it, so he is taking offers. You don’t see trucks of yhis vintage with this low of miles.

This is my father in laws truck. It gets driven like twice a year for parades. Miles are original. It was purchased from Lander Fire Dept a few years ago. Zero rust, and to my knowledge, everything is still functional on it. It has a 500 gal water tank in it. Pump, hoses, generator, all work. Huge winch on the front works too. Dash has one tiny crack in it. Otherwise, this thing is clean as hell. No clue what to really ask for it, so he is taking offers. You don’t see trucks of yhis vintage with this low of miles.
