WTB wheel vintiques

Looking for a set of four 82 series 8 lug 16 X 8 wheel vintiques

The factory is out of stock and waiting for their supplier to provide centers or rings not sure which , so they can make another batch.

Long shot but maybe someone has a set to sell ?

Not looking for bent or junk , looking for a nice slightly used set.

Thanx

I ordered them from jegs
It was back in August and should have received them the second week of August

I then received an email stating they would ship August 24th. Ok I can live with that.

Aug 24th came and no shipment . Another email and now says November 10th.

Jack holes.......I cancelled order.

Wheel Vintiques doesn't even know when they will be made , so how is jegs gonna ship on nov 10th ?

Re: WTB wheel vintiques

Have you spoken directly with Wheel Vintiques? I had to wait for my 62 series 15 X 8 6 lug steelies ordered through Summit for my 69 Blazer project for a month last spring. More recently, I ordered some 15 X 6 62 series for my 61 Vette. Again, the ship date kept on moving further out. I called Wheel Vintiques and asked if they had any in stock. They had 34 of the wheels I needed. I asked them why they hadn't been shipped to Summit so they could be shipped to me. They responded that they only ship to Summit when they have two pallets full of wheel orders from them. I then called Summit and asked them to have Wheel Vintiques drop ship them to me as I was fed up with waiting- which they did. I appreciated it as I know it cost them more to do it but I was out of patience.

Re: WTB wheel vintiques

and btw, while I actually found them all on my own, I did encounter other manufacturers doing the same thing..

and if I remember correctly, they all buy certain parts of the wheels from same manufacturers..

again, good luck!
