Seam Sealer?

Could someone please recommend a good seam sealer. A lot of the threads covering this date back a ways and some of the links are no more.
Thank you.

Re: Seam Sealer?

X2 on the 3m self leveling on the top drip rail and vertical door rail I'd use the 3m 08308 heavy bonded sealer. I will say practice on some areas that don't really matter first because I takes a few times to get used to the way it lays and it does dry fast so keep it going so your tip doesn't dry up on you. I'd buy extra tips for the tubes.

Re: Seam Sealer?

Wow much thanks for the advise in the sealer. I have seen the two part which takes a special applicater gun and have also heard that there's a single part seam sealer which works as well but much easier to use. I'm just getting started on rocker panels and I am no sheet metal worker so I'm trying at least to have the things on hand that I think I'll need. I'll have a look at the products mentioned. I'll be getting around to drip rails eventually but right now my rockers need some tlc
