Looking for stainless bolts
I see that brothers offers stainless bolt kits for the complete cab and complete bed are there any other alternatives. I would love to have all stainless but $460.00 before shipping is more than what I want to pay . Or does anyone have a list of the bolts ? My truck is a 67 shortbed stepside

Re: Looking for stainless bolts
Don't have sizes but a call to Fastenal could be a place to start for the fasteners.

Re: Looking for stainless bolts
I use Fastenal for most of my SS hardware wants and needs, but it really helps to have or know someone who has an industrial/company discount. The web prices can get cut near in half for me.
Sorry I can't help with the actual sizes you need...surely that info is floating around here somewhere?

Re: Looking for stainless bolts
If you have a friend that works in a pulp mill , they use a lot of SS bolts. I got a huge bag full of assorted bolts from there.

Re: Looking for stainless bolts
I get most of my stainless hardware from River City Fastener & Supply 763-789-BOLT extension 2658, aka rivercityindustrialsupply on ebay. Just purchased 50 stainless 5/16-18 x 3/4" Carriage bolts & nuts from them for $26 shipped.
5/16-18 x 3/4" carriage bolts are the dome shaped bolts that attach you front wall and bedsides to the floor on a steel bed. I needed 50 because I have a long bed. Home depot sells 50 packs of stainless 5/16 split ring lock washers for $6. They sell stainless flat washers for $1.18 per 5 pack. Wood floors require a lot more hardware and special offset washers for the carriage bolts.

Re: Looking for stainless bolts
In my experience, Brothers in general is more expensive than other retailers. I got my stainless bed hardware from Classic Industries. They're actually my go-to for body panels as they usually have a sale going on.
