Where to find rear axle code for 2015 GMC
Guys, just purchased a 2015 SLT with no broadcast sheet and was wondering what axle I have. I have the code list in the glove compartment but do not know what axles ratios and what RPO codes were used for that model and year. Could you point me where I can find this info.....thanks

GM always used RPO codes beginning with the letter G for axle related information. You can go to the below website and see the various GM axle codes and compare to your label. Also, you can always go to your GM dealership parts counter and they can print you out a build sheet from your VIN. Someone told me you can also contact GM customer service and get the build sheet that way but I never tried it.

Although some RPO codes get re-used I'm not aware of any axle codes ever changing.

Great links, thanks MUCH guys. My two G codes; GU6=3.42 and G80=Limited slip Posi. I was not aware I could get the build sheet from the Parts Counter guys, do want that for sure, thanks.
