Re: Cab Swap - 72 Super Cab -> Non-Super cab. What do I need to consider?

The screw in stud is THE only way to go. I get mine from the local body shop supply store. I'm sure they are the same as what is in Mar-k catolog. When installed they look identical to the original stud. It's probably not neccesary, but I always add a little loc-tite to help seal the threads.

As far as the studs for the paint divider trim, i hear the uni-spotter weld on studs work well. I am not to that point yet or i would let you know. Eric
Yeah, I own everything.

Uni-spotter weld on studs? Do you have a link to more information on them? I'd definitely like to check them out.

I don't have a link, but i have the setup in my garage. I have a buddy that owns a body shop in town and that is what he prefers. Any time you have extra holes in sheet metal, you can have more potential for rust.
