Re: New 64 Stepper Project

Nope, not an amp gauge, changed it to a voltage gauge, changed the oil gauge as well. Well the weather people say it hit 98 yesterday but who counting?
Ya it's 100amp alright, 3 wire (actually 4 with the ground). And the only reason I got that was because it was a regulated 3 wire. I'm going to get a clamp on DC meter and see what it's actually doing in a couple places.

Good to hear, to nice of a build to go up in flames over a factory gauge…

Re: New 64 Stepper Project

So I went to a car show yesterday that turned out to be bigger than I have seen in the past, people must want out lately.
Anyway I came home with two awards (felt kind of guilty).

Re: New 64 Stepper Project

Thanks my friend.
I've been sick, caughing and tired etc. Found i had pneumonia in one lung. I'm on meds and getting better but it's slow and miserable.
I want to go to a show this weekend so we'll see how it goes.

Re: New 64 Stepper Project

So I'm out yesterday cleaning my tires and this guy drives up in a medium blue Z28 1969 Camaro with white stripes and says he wants to trade my truck for his car. I looked at his car and it wasn't as nice. A few things wrong, too loud, console was worn, dash was cut (radio), wrong hoses in engine compartment, A-arms and frame took like they were painted with a corn broom, very dirty engine compartment. He swears it's a numbers matching car but I'll have to pass on this one. Looked like this one:
