Blazer frame question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Looking at a 1971 blazer frame and saw this bracket on back spring hanger never seen it before is this original or not. It has a 2" lift.

It is original. They are on my 72 frame

Thanks for letting me no I have a 69 and a 70 they don't have it.

Yep, my 72 has them as well. Usually anyyhing riveted, especially that nicely, is going to be original.

Edit: saw your new post after I posted. They must of added them in later years out of necessity. Like the steering box reinforcement and front spring stops.
