Wtb 89 or Comparable Computer 3/4 Ton 350

I have a computer out of an 89 c1500 with a 305 and th375 Im aiming to put that fuel injection setup on an 85 with a 350-th400 The computer is giving me a prom chip or computer code

I would like to replace it with one that will control the th-375-400 and is for a 3/4 ton with 350 is possible

Or anything that would be comparable

The trans are not electric on that model year...The last 4 #s on the ecm are 7747... I have several of them...for auto trucks...$35 shipped.
You just have a bad ecm...very common problem,What is the code you are getting? I will help you figure this out...Thanks,Erick

I forgot what the code was ill refer back to my info and see

But the trans is electric its just the kickdown thats operated by the wire but its based off TPS location and i would like to try to get that to work

I know i can just ditch the fuel injections kick down wire and keep mine with the manual switch thats activated by the pedal

The computer i have says Serv No 1227747 AKTJ
86aktj k390420272

16084211 AKTJ

Any of the computers may work for this i was reading some schematics last night that showed one wire doing either TCC function for 700 or detent operation for a three speed I need to get more info i guess.

You can run the 7727 computer, the 400 kickdown bracket was on some 73-87 trucks by the gas pedal...Thats all you need for it to work. Your may have the mounting spot for a switch witch you can get at any parts store...Th400 kickdown switch. I may have a setup if you cant find one...

Check the 89 truck for the switch too..they are all the same...

The 89 Didnt have a kickdown switch it was based off TPS Sensor Location and done by the computer Thats why i would like to get the right computer

I think any of the computers with the part number i have will work I saw a schematic on the web somewhere that showed a wire being TCC function for 700 R-4 Or Going to a kickdown relay for a 3 speed

I have a working 85 chevy 3/4 Originally 454/th400 I swaped it over to a 350 about a year ago

But its still carburated and i plan on convertiing it over with this harness i have out of an 89 and i would like to try to get the kickdown to work off the TPS If i cant then ill stick to the under dash kickdown switch thats already there and in place and functioning.
