Thread rust repellent?

is there a coating to put on the threads after installing suspension parts? I cleaned up my front end and taped off the threaded parts before painted, and now they are all rusted. what have u guys used?

If you look at many Japanese cars, most of their nuts and bolts are anodized. They can last for years without rusting. I put Cosmoline on mine. It doesn't really look pretty, but it holds up for ages and can easily be reapplied.

Any type of lube/penetrant should help.

I use copper anti seize. It was recommended to me at a Pikes Peak event by a very well know crew chief, and I used it ever since.

I seen the copper stuff at oreillys but didn't know if it had an orange color. I went with this stuff I seen on amazon....hope it works ok.
