GMC Red Interior Paint

I have a '69 GMC with red interior panels, gauge panel, steering column, etc. I want to touch up some of the panels, and was wondering if anyone has any experience with the interior paint that LMC sells. The color in my truck is more of a dark red / burgandy, not a bright red. A lot of the pictures from many sites that sell colored interior parts look like they are bright red, not a burgandy color. Looking for new arm rests in particular, thinking I could paint them with the LMC paint.

Here is a link to the paint on LMC: https://www.lmctruck.com/1967-72-che...olorbond-spray

Re: GMC Red Interior Paint

Get the right color mixed at an automotive paint supplier. Or there are probably online places. That's just generic parts store colors they have. The red doesn't even change from year to year, and there was never grey. I just take a piece to have scanned and buy the rattle can. They should also sell adhesion promoter. Always a good idea

Re: GMC Red Interior Paint

Can you explain more about the "Adhesion Promoter"?
Thanks.
