That seat is extremely rare in '66! Note the padded door panels too.

That interior has held up very nicely.

Well I guess that would depend on weather your buying or selling. The ad says all original so why the chevy hood? If i remember correctly that seat was available in 66, But rare doesn’t make it desirable.

Pretty good looking truck, I could never understand the need for a single wheel 1 ton with a pickup box, as opposed to the dual wheeled flat bed. I suppose there must be someone out there who is interested in them.

Re: '65 Chevy dually, "Braking is from unassisted front discs and rear drums."
Have you EVER driven anything with un-assisted disc brakes. They only work slightly better than dragging your feet. It has the big diameter master cylinder so, you know that pedal effort will be off the charts.

I worked for 3 different Chevy dealers in the early '70s, and have driven many vehicles with manual disc brakes. GM's engineers wouldn't have deemed them unsafe. YMMV.

Yes I have. In fact I installed disc and a manual MC in my 1948 GMC Panel. It was a pleasure to drive and brake after that. I think there have been mis-matched MC bores installed systems that cause the issue you wrote about.

Their was a time when most vehicles had unassisted brakes and steering, they worked fine. I have a 62 cj-5 9inch drums and no assist, it will lock all four with not much effort.

Great find, that's a cool old truck - would look great restored, not something you see every day.
