what's this 66 Suburban 4x4 worth?

Hi folks,

Joined this forum couple years ago but this is my first post.

Looking for opinions on what this truck is worth:

1966 Suburban 4x4. all original Texas truck, outstanding shape. 283, 4-speed.

everthing works properly, no rust, never left central Texas. Could be daily driver condition is so good...see link below for pics. Thanks in advance for advice.

WOW!!! What a rare burb that is.......................In 1966 they made only 418 of those with the barn doors........................If the owner knows what he has he'll be asking a pretty penny for it....................I wouldn't be surprised he would want 10K or more for it. From what pictures there were the outside look great except that cattle catcher front bumper.........I still would check all of the spots prone to rust. inner fenders, floor boards, even around the grill support. All of this would effect the price................Still, it looks like a nice burban.......................Hemmit

thanks for the reply. yeah it is pretty nice, pretty much an original survivor. it does have a small bit of typical rust in driver's fender. frame looks great. been in Austin Texas area its whole life. guy knows what he has unfortunately. negotiating now from 8500..i think it is probably worth that.

You're right......................$8500 for that truck isn't bad considering how rare it is.........................If it doesn't take a lot of work to get it where you want it the price is reasonable.............Hemmit
