2017 seats in my 72 Blazer

I have a set of front seats from a 2017 Silverado that I am going to put in my 72 Blazer project. The driver seat is power with heat and the pass is manual. Does anyone have any experience hooking these up? I just don't want to hook it up and blow out the airbag. My seats have the original harness for the seat. I don't really care about the heated portion. Just didn't want to run power to the red and black wires and cause myself more issues. Any help is appreciated.

Air bag systems uses yellow wiring. Don't touch any yellow wires and you'll be fine.

Re: 2017 seats in my 72 Blazer

I installed a set of camaro seats in my Chevelle. I unhooked the airbag and removed it for safety.

Update?

I’m basically doing the same to my suburban. I’m in Texas so not worried about the heater but I have the wiring figured out. What did u do for mounts? I was thinking cut the original mounts off and weld on some 1/4” plate and bolt her down but using stock mounts would be convenient.
