front leaf springs

question

I am seriously considering removing the 4" lift from my 72 blazer 4x4 (bought it with that lift), and possibly going back to stock height.
Any recommendations for the front leaf springs? I see that there are 2 and 3 leafspring options, but which would be the better option?

thanks

Re: front leaf springs

Go to a 2" leveling spring....the stock springs have a negative arch....stable but not much in the way of performance
You can get as deep $$ as you want but Tuff Country and Skyjacker have a soft ride spring kit
You can also step higher up and get Deaver or Alcan....all depends on how deep you want into it $$$
My '72 has 2" my '70 has 4" BDS...it's pretty bouncy

Re: front leaf springs

A1971....thanks for the reply. Will start looking at your mentions. My 72, at the moment, has the 4" lift. Went to the rally wheels with 33x10.50. Wheel wll looks somewhat empty with these tires. Both of yours are nice looking rigs

Re: front leaf springs

Just for reference, mine has 33x12.50 BFGs on stock springs. I removed a 3" body lift when I replaced the bushings.
