Exclamation 1974 C10 New Belt Size?

I took off the AIR pump on my 1974 C10 w/350. I need to get a new belt and was wondering if anyone out there knows the new size needed or how to properly measure it out. Sorry I'm new at this haha.

Re: 1974 C10 New Belt Size?

A good way to get in the ballpark is a piece of rope. Then buy that size along with one size longer and one size shorter.

For example, if the rope length is 45", pick up a 445, 450, and 455. And if you're lucky, one of them will work. If not, at least you'll be close to zeroing in on the correct size.

1969 C10 (not the current one) that I bought in the early 1980s. Paid $1200; sold for $1500 a few years later. Just a hint at the appreciation that was coming.
