what brake line do i need for disc conversion kit?

I just started a drum to disc conversion on the rear of my 72 k20 truck. I bought the bracket and calipers from lugnut4x4. i didnt think of purchasing the brake lines. I thought i could reuse what i had but it didnt work. what brake lines can i buy locally to finish up my kit? is there a particular year and model i need to ask for?

You are going to need to shorten the hard lines and put a new flare on the ends. you can then get whatever line you need...

Assuming your calipers have 10mm or 3/8 banjo fitting. you could get something like this:

With an AN to Flare adapter like this:
https://www.amazon.com/Allstar-Perfo.../dp/B003C01D3I

Maybe someone will chime in with a good part number for a less expensive rubber line that will go from the hardline inverted flare to a banjo fitting...

I looked a little more and here are some banjo to inverted flare hoses...

Summit has many others.

What Calipers does your brake kit use?

I looked up those calipers and they take a 7/16-20 banjo bolt.

Here are a bunch of brake hoses that would work.

You will still have to cut the hardline shorter and re-flare. I have one of these flare tools for 3/16 line and love it:

Re: what brake line do i need for disc conversion kit?

I would weld some tabs like this on the axle:
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/a...0029?rrec=true

I get lines that have the 7/16 banjo on one end and 3-an on the other.

Then use an adapter like this:
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/rus-641291?rrec=true

The adapter will clip into the above bracket with clips like this:

Re: what brake line do i need for disc conversion kit?

I was going to recommend a kit like this: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/clp-rbhtk?rrec=true

But, I'm not sure those clamps are big enough to fit around your C20 rear differential. The kit is recommended for 3" diameter differential tubes.
