4x6 speakers for 94 single cab gmc

so i have been needing to replace the door pillar speakers in my 94 stepside rst gmc and was wondering what are some good 4x6 speakers?? what i am thinking of doing eventually is getting a different deck than the one that i already have(it was one of those $100 sony boxed sets with speakers) that has the outputs for an amp. so what brand would i be looking at for future use with an amp. not gonna go with anything too big. 200 watts or less as far as the amp will be concerned. i would do a sub box, but i don't wanna lose the small stowage area for my top off and other fluids that i keep in the vehicle.

Re: 4x6 speakers for 94 single cab gmc

I ahve a set of 4x6 Boston Accustic speakers in my dad's corvette and I like 'em. They also make a "plate" speaker that has a tiny mid and tweet.

For a sub box, you ahve to face reality that you might lose that space. You can put one under the seat maybe?
