Memorial Day

As we begin this Memorial Day weekend, I would like to thank those individuals who have served our country. I offer my sincere gratitude to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom and to preserve our way of life.

Re: Memorial Day

A day to Remember all our veterans who have served this country with pride and honor.
Many young lives have been lost along the way,
And it is because of your bravery and selflessness that we enjoy the freedoms we do now.
You are appreciated more than you know.

Re: Memorial Day

Our veterans are the reason that we are a free country. They hold the line and stand tall in the face of danger.

They deserve to be be honored for the sacrifices that they make. I don't think one day is enough. Everyday is better.

God bless them and God bless the USA.

Re: Memorial Day

I had been back from deployment for a couple of years when the realization suddenly hit me... I had never worried about my own safety while I was in Iraq, but every night my wife and children prayed that their husband and father would make it through another day. The weight they must have lived with is something I can't imagine.

I'm just saying, don't underestimate the sacrifices of the families.
