While I'm not a 6 cylinder fan I have always liked the sound of the 60's GMC V6. It has a sound all it's own.

Why would A/C on a GMC V6 be a surprise?

I really really like this one

I added the original linkage type power steering to mine, it was a real bear to steer with that heavy V-6 and A/C over the front wheels. I would imagine this one would steer a lot easier! Very nice truck.
Thanks! Yes, mine is a late production truck as well I believe...I haven’t had a chance to check, because it’s in storage but I’m hoping since it is late production, I have the dimple in the frame for easier power steering fitment if I choose to go that route...

special-K I remember those 67 fenders/custom badges back in the day from the Carlisle PA Old truck show. That was a one year only GMC specific color on those fenders, right?

Re: The 1967 GMC picture thread !!!

Picked this one up a few months back

Started gathering a few needed parts for the restoration

Az truck it’s whole life no rust had sport buckets and the rally’s both have been removed.

It’s a cool truck but sad that it’s been just sitting in a field out in the dessert for 20+ years can’t wait to get to this one..

I'd like to find a plain Jane stripper like this some day, but with an automatic trans, and as a long bed stepside. A guy can dream, right?
