The wonderful company I work for decided it best if I don't get paid for two weeks this year. So far.

On the positive side I am able to get a bunch of projects done that I never would have been able to touch while working. I'm kinda running out of stuff to do around here so I dropped the plow off the truck yesterday.

One of my most favorite days of the year. You folks out of the snow belt just don't understand.

I did leave the pump, hoses, and plow frame in place just in case. The last two springs we have had plowable snows in April. Furlough week two starts in a few weeks. That stuff will come off then.

Just like when I take the chains off the tractor, this means more snow for sure!

After the earthquake we had last month, my wife wanted me to put water in the motorhome just in case. I waited until this week, when the 10-day forecast had no freezing temperatures. I filled up the fresh water holding tank and ran water through the lines to check everything - it's all good. Fast forward three days, and the forecast changes. Last night's low was 24 degrees. So yesterday I was draining water lines again...
