Drum Brake Actuator Lever Help

Gents,

I won’t go deep into the specifics, but I had an awful experience with a shop trying to rebuild my rear end (which I think is out of a 1972 K20, it’s hard to tell given how many different vehicles my 67 was cobbled together from) and in the process they took apart my drum brakes and left me scrounging to reassemble them.

I have almost everything back together but I don’t understand how the actuator lever and return spring are supposed to mount with respect to the adjuster lever. Can anyone help me with a diagram, because every diagram I’ve found online is for a different style of actuator/adjuster lever. Photos should be attached.

-Cole

The adjuster on the right in the pic goes to the LH side that you have pictured.
The “hole” in it slips over the tang near the adjuster, the “U” shaped other end straddles the lever further back and up, the spring against the shoe pushing it towards center.
