super fast
.
Ordered new shocks from SUMMIT yesterday evening around 5pm CT. Woke up this morning to find a tracking number in my email, click that and see this: JUN 8 5:10 AM Loaded on Delivery Vehicle Mckinney, TX JUN 8 3:33 AM Processing at UPS Facility Mckinney, TX JUN 8 2:41 AM Arrived at Facility Mckinney, TX JUN 8 1:50 AM Departed from Facility Mesquite, TX JUN 8 1:08 AM Origin Scan Mesquite, TX JUN 7 11:09 PM Shipper created a label, UPS has not received the package yet. That right there is worth the 10 bucks I paid for it. It is nice to live within an hour of the warehouse! KYB gas-a-just for the c10 soon on my doorstep. -klb

Re: super fast
I kinda miss when Summit just had their GA location. I would almost ALWAYS get stuff the next day if I ordered the morning before. But now, they ship stuff from OH, NV, etc and it can take up to a week sometimes.
It seems most of the stuff I want now is on backorder.

Re: super fast
Ordered some wax and grease remover and reducer on 5/27 shipped from their NV location arrived on the 3rd. 7 days
Ordered some epoxy and catalyst yesterday and they shipped from GA on truck for delivery today , 1 day One more reason I'm a Summit shopper , I'm North east of Knoxville and to buy locally I would have to make a trip to West Knoxville about a 2 hour round trip and pay more for the products and gas . Free shipping is great if you live in the sticks . Between UPS / Fed Ex / and USPS they have delivered 75% of my truck to my driveway , new and used parts . I have a bunch of small parts on my wish list and use them to reach the $100. free shipping threshold and .01 over gets you there .

I like the idea of a wish list and using them as filler to get to free shipping! Ima steal this . The wife would have to be on board with free shipping. Right. -klb Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: super fast
I ordered a set of disc brake calipers last Wednesday from Summit Racing, parts arrived next day in less than 24 hours. Parts were in stock in the Arlington warehouse.
I ordered a Willwood brake proportioning valve yesterday again from Summit. Parts arrived today in less than 24 hours. If Summit Racing keeps this up, I'll be ordering nearly all of my parts from them. |
