Re: tobacco free

I stopped smoking in 1996 (smoked for 25 years). I still refer to it as stopping as I had stopped in 84, but after a rough divorce in the early 90's I picked it up (way to easily....that is why I say I stopped, instead of quit) again for a couple years. It has been very good on me since I stopped. It is a good thing for you, just keep active, watch what you eat and you will do great.

Life isn't tied with a bow, but it's still a gift.
Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Leave the rest to God!

Its kinda crazy that cigarette smoking is banned almost everywhere, but you can smoke pot in more places every year. They contain 99% of the same chemicals.
Ahhh yes...but, one has the magical THC and the other doesn't.

Re: tobacco free

I never got a tobacco habit started but I tried when I was a teenager. Smoking didn't do much for me and all sorts of chewing tobacco sure did not. The one dip I took I told my buddy that my lip was burning like it was on fire. He told me I'd get used to it. My response was that I didn't see why I would want to.

Good for you for quitting and I hope it lasts. The money you save can be an incentive but the health benefits are the real gain in the long run.

Right. You don't quit. You stop.

Shut the door. Lock it. And wait for it to knock. It will. Just keep that door locked.
