how high's the water mama?

Goodness sakes. And it's still raining over the mid south. Flooded roads, farms, railroad tracks washed out. One community here, Rohwer, Arkansas, received 19.22 inches of rain in 48 hours this week.
Tornados popping up. After a few hours of mostly sunshine yesterday a storm cell brewed up and came within a few miles of us after dark. Some rotation and 1/2 dollar sized hail was reported, more power outages. But we're good here.

Re: how high's the water mama?

Jim,
I told my wife yesterday afternoon that sunny and humid we were gonna get some storms. Sure enough, the last cell that came just west of Searcy was headed straight for my place. Got the great niece and nephew in town this week and they got to spend about 20 minutes in the fraidy hole (safe room) last night. Tornado warning from about 9:00 to just after 9:30.

I have a customer in Arkansas City that’s not but a few miles from Roher, I need to check on them today. Lots of water rolling towards the big river right now. Louisiana is gonna get it in the next few days to a week.

It's been a while. He can wipe the cob webs off of it and stock the fridge.

A pipeline from where? There already is one, the Colorado River Aqueduct, and you know that story. Water level at minus 135' on Lake Powell

Re: how high's the water mama?

If rains don't return to the southwest there's going to be some serious, serious problems in the coming years.

As noted above, the Hoover dam reservoir has hit an all time low. It's only 37% full.
