Paint color and lettering question

Hi all. A few questions:

1) Were the letters CHEVROLET on the tailgate always painted (off) white?
2) When these letters were painted white, was the "white" the same color as the interior white (I believe that was Sand Beige (Dupont color 93-57821))?
3) When was the window area of the cab painted white, for which RPOs? And is this white the same as 1 and 2 above?

Thank you!

Re: Paint color and lettering question

The GM Heritage archives should be the first source for folks to go to looking for specs or oem info on their trucks.
