Quick question - are all 60-66 steering box's the same?

Following on from my Red Head steering box thread I need to find a core to send them as they don't have any available to build a box for me.

I have found a couple in WA, close to their facility, but wanted to make sure that all box's are created equal.

So are there any differences between the years or are they all created equal?

Couldn't find a definitive on line so though it best to ask.

Thanks in advance.

P.

Good! That means I now have a core to send to RedHead and thanks for the confirmation.

I saw conflicting information which is why I thought I would ask.

I just bought one of these from Performance online. There was no core charge. https://www.performanceonline.com/19...ring-Gear-Box/ I have not put it in yet because I now need a new pitman arm that I am waiting for. Seems like a nice unit and is really tight.

Thanks for that Mr Fleetside.

Unfortunately about an hour too late as after confirmation that all box's are the same I picked up a core unit for $20 and it should be on its way to RedHead later this week.

I would have gone this route if I knew about it before hand but hopefully the information will help somebody else.
