Somewhere in this section or in the 4x4 section is a thread showing the differences in the factory and the aftermarket blue dials.

You lucky devil! I wish mine still had the original spicers. Somewhere along the line a PO installed warn lockouts. They work okay but I think the spicers are cooler.

Torque King 4x4 sells aluminum dials for the Spicer hubs. You can find good used or NOS dials on here from time to time. I have a few parts a pieces left from all the hubs I parted out but if you're looking for a good used set be prepared to pay. The only part being manufactured aftermarket for these is the dials that I'm aware of.

Is there a specific part you're searching for or just want a spare set?

Re: Anyone know if they make these locking hubs anymore

Thanks everyone, I was worried they might be a little tougher to find. I looked on the internet for a couple hours and just had no luck. These hubs are in great shape I just wanted a second pair. I will look on where you guys suggested. If I do find some I will update. Thanks again

Looks like I am gonna have to baby these LOL. I might be headed to fairbanks in the next month to pick up a cab over camper with my truck. If I do, we should get some lunch. Hopefully the wood smoke cloud isn't to thick!! It's -52 up here on the slope currently!! Stay well my friend.

Re: Anyone know if they make these locking hubs anymore

K/20 parts are my most sacred cherished parts. When repros come out I'm always interested. I did buy some shabby blue dials off Ebay, maybe $100? They were translucent with what looked like metal flake in it. I need to get a pair of those metal dials.
Nothing wrong with Warn Hubs. I've been running Selectro hubs on my K2500 because I think they're cool

Yes, we should definitely get together. If nothing else, it will be a great photo-op. Two 1972 k2500s side by side!

I’ll PM my phone number.

Keep them serviced; IE clean and oiled and they will last a long time. I’ve never had good luck using grease in them, that’s what causes the dials to get hard to turn in my experience. I just use a little 90wt when putting them back together, and I mean just a little. Service them once a year and if the dials won’t turn, don’t force them. That’s what causes the dials to crack. When everything is clean and in working order the dials should turn quite effortlessly.

Re: Anyone know if they make these locking hubs anymore

Yep. The grease stops at the wheel bearings and its oil-only in the hub. They only move when you actuate them
