Re: Caps, toppers, camper shells - ONLY!

Why did Alaskan make a 10 ft. camper? Would be too long for a Longhorn as well.

Vintage cap for a Longhorn. It would be hard to find another.

My 86 in 92.
I only had in on the truck when we would camp at the Winston Cup races at Loudon, NH in the 90's. Throw an air mattress back there and voila, instant camper.

Thanks!
It was a nice truck except for the fact it had an absolute gutless 305 in it, and it went through multiple fuel pumps, to the point that I wound up running an electric fuel pump on the fender well.
I got rid of it in 1999 with 247K miles. Actually I donated it, there was nothing left to the body, and the engine was shot.
After that I bought my first (and to this day only) brand new vehicle - a refrigerator white 99 C2500.

Good score, delivered even! Looks similar to the Trav A Lite cap on my truck. I literally picked this out of a farmer's field on the way to Crusin the Coast a few months back. Gave it to me for peanuts.
I'd say it's $50-250 range depending on location, $100 on average.

Thanks, I gave $100.00 for it which seemed fair since he loaded it up and delivered it. When the weather warms up I will get it cleaned up and see what I've got.
