How hard is it to lift a 2002 S10?

Hi guys, just picked up a 2002 Chevy S10 4x4 extended cab 4.3v6 automatic.
Thinking of lifting it. How hard is it to lift one of these?
Not really wanting a crazy high lift, just enough so I can put on some slightly bigger tires and have a little bit more ground clearance.

And if anyone has pictures of there lifted S10 I would love to see them!

This is a 1999 s10 zr-2 lifted from the factory. You can buy lifted spindles and lift blocks for the rear will give you 2-2 1/2 inches. I personally would stay away from a body lift. You can also crank tbars up a little in the front don't go wild you won't like the ride. I rebuilt the frontend on this truck previous owner had t bars all the way up rode like an old wagon.

I used to replace the front CV joints in lifted S10 Trucks and Blazers all the time.
Not trying to sway you in any way. Just be ready for the issues lifting creates.
I think they look good lifted.

Any opinions on running bigger tires?
Or should I just stick with stock tire sizes?

There’s some info on this on the Blazerforum. You can go a little bigger with stock wheels and no lift. Wider wheels with more negative offset might help prevent run, but then you’re affecting the scrub angle.
