Where to buy ACC cut pile (plush) carpet?

So, looking for black ACC plush (cut pile) carpet with mass backing for 72 Blazer, looks like I can get it from stockinteriors.com and was wondering if any other place sells this option?

rockauto.com only sells loop and essex not regular cut pile, and most other places sell one or the other etc..

Edit: motorcityk5 sells it but more expensive than stockinteriors.com

Re: Where to buy ACC cut pile (plush) carpet?

Hi Steve,

ACC used to be the "go to" vendor for interior carpet kits, but over the last decade I seem to see more and more complaints about poor quality from them.

Not sure if there is another vendor (non-ACC) making good carpet kits, but it might be worth checking around before slapping your hard-earned money down.

Here is my personal example of ACC carpet.....

Rear carpet kit for my old 1972 Suburban.... profile for right side wheeltub.

profile for left side wheeltub.

Horrible mismatch, shape isn't even close to matching from side to side.

Just curious if you had contacted them about it and if they gave you a response?

Sadly I don’t think there’s many alternatives.

Yeah, don't think there is another quality option.

After that experience, I ended up just buying a few yards of the bulk carpet from ACC and the welting to sew on the cut edges. My plan was to just make an ACCURATE template myself, then cut the carpet to the correct pattern... then bring it to a local upholstery shop to have them sew the welting onto it.

Sold the Burb before ever getting around to it, but for a project that you care about, it might be a good compromise that still gets you results you are pleased with.
