Instrument panel light bulb replacement

Here I was thinking that to replace an instrument panel bulb you had to buy the socket and bulb together. I thought they were one piece. So I was really happy to learn that the bulb pulls out of the socket and the replacement is an inexpensive #194

Hope this helps someone.

Re: Instrument panel light bulb replacement

the PC194s werent even around back then... GM started using them in the late 80's. Anything before that would be just 194 bulbs.
