Interesting find. Lower priced truck with a good looking tailgate and upper trim.

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/cto...499758034.html

1967 Chevrolet K 10 8 ft. long bed, 1/2 ton pick up truck.
Rare 292 straight six cylinder with optional oil bath intake, four speed manual with granny low, manual steering, drum brakes, 23,100 original miles.
Original paint, mechanically runs perfect as everything has been inspected or rebuilt from the radiator to the rear end.
NO ROT on this well preserved 67 and the original paint has a nice patina, with all the original little dings. The interior is in original and super clean condition, with original build sheet inside glovebox door, and the doors open and close like new.
Just finished oak wood bed replacement with raptor coating on the side walls.
I have boxes of new replacement parts (doorhandles, wing windows, window seals, emblems, etc.) if one is inclined to invest in paint.
I have all the original documentation from day of purchase.

My plan was to continue the restoration and enjoy driving this truck around town on the weekends. I am entertaining making an exodus from CA, and the old pick up doesn’t fit the move. I am not in any hurry to sell this truck, so if you are not serious, save the petty lowball offers.
Asking $25k cash sale ONLY, not interested in trades, I have plenty of boats, cars, trailers, and motorcycles to liquidate as well.

The SPID posted on CL looks like a reproduction. The font seems off and the sticker looks new. I definitely could be wrong.

Nice looking truck but @ $125k I would expect the motor, transmission/transfer case and differentials to be totally rebuilt not "serviced" But they did hammer the point home that they painted the inner fender wells.

Agreed guys, the truck is nice but there are too many things (like the SPID) that could have been better.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2

That really is a special truck, the rear window has the SS trim but not the front windshield,
the SPID says Air INJ REACTOR, I've never seen that before, what is it?

This truck is really great and if I were to get a K model it would be like this one. I however wouldn't have pulled the six to put a used 2 barrel 327 in its place. A 292 would be way cooler.
I also don't understand the ad. Out of dozens of photos not one of the dash. Photos of the fake documents seem more interesting to the seller. Does it have a complete set of seat belts? Why only lap belts? Why does it look like the air vents have been removed? And what about the wiring harness hanging from under the dash? Looks to be the light switch. Obviously the truck has been put up for sale before the finishing work is done, yet they claim " The truck starts right up, purrs and drives great. The brakes are very sharp and you can turn the power steering with one finger."
At this price point I'm not a buyer but the alarm bells in my head are ringing.
All this is my opinion of course and that doesn't hold much water.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2

72 Cheyenne Super $8500. Looks to be a smoking deal. Not mine

https://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/c...501938206.html

Serious inquiries only please. Thank you!

My Grandpa bought this truck August 2021 and due to his unexpected passing we are selling it. Since it was such a recent purchase and he didn't drive it much, I have attached the original ad he purchased it from to share the most information. We took it into the mechanic back in January to get checked out and the master cylinder for the brakes is brand new now as well as the front fuel line is brand new. The truck has two fuel lines only one is functioning we opted not to replace the second one as it wasn't needed. Otherwise the shop said everything is looking great and it hasn't been driven since.

"1972 Chevrolet C20 Cheyenne Super - $9,000 (LAKEWOOD)
1972 Chevrolet C20 Cheyenne Super condition: good
cylinders: 8 cylinders
fuel: gas
odometer: 75743
paint color: blue
title status: clean
transmission: automatic

Too many projects so she has to go! I purchased this truck from the family who bought it new and have a stack of various receipts. It is a rare Cheyenne Super and is optioned with a factory tilt wheel, power disc brakes, tinted glass, and the camper special package. Has 2 working fuel tanks and the fuel gauge works for both! It still has the original jack mounted in the cab corner and comes with the Protecto Plate as well. It has factory heavy duty rear suspension, front stabilizar and air bags.
This truck has an excellent running original 350, which was completely rebuilt less than 4k miles ago. It has an aluminum intake manifold, Edelbrock carb, electronic ignition and headers. The radiator, battery, alternator and voltage regulator are all new. All of the original gauges are fully functional and the turbo 400 transmission shifts like it was new and has an oil cooler as well! It has new tires and brakes on all 4 corners and stops on a dime!
In an effort to be fully transparent the truck is solid with minimul rust throughout but the passenger fender is starting to show rust through on the bottom. The doors, floor boards, and cab corners are solid with virtually no rust whatsoever, as are the rocker panels which is very rare for these trucks! The bed is in great shape with only minor surface rust. Having had a camper on it for most of its life it was very well protected. I have the upper trim for the bed sides, which like that on the truck, is near mint condtion as well! The windshield is new as well as the door seals! Overall the truck is a great restoration candidate or drive it like it is and enjoy the many compliments you’ll get while doin so! Having restored a K10 in the past Im very familiar with these trucks and would have to say you would be hard pressed to find a more perfect example of an original 72 Super! This truck has all original body panels and runs and drives like it was new!
Come take a look, take it for a drive and hear it run! You wont be disappointed!
If the post is up its still available! Call if you’re interested and I’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have! Not into tire kickers and like most I value my time so serious inquiries only!"
