Re: LWB Tonneau Cover

I have yet to find any one that has them for long beds. I thought about it for mine, but if I do, looks like I'll need to get someone to custom sew one.

Re: LWB Tonneau Cover

Subscribed.
I am also in the market for a long bed tonneau
I remember a past thread on a member who bought a used Ford tonneau cover that fit his C10 pretty well.
It was an Extang Trifecta 2.0 tonneau cover for a 1978 Ford 8ft. Long Bed.
Extang only offered a tonneau for 1975 C10’s and up if I remember correctly.
I did save the photos though.
I like the way it cover the rails, tailgate and the bed pockets.
The Extang web site still offers this Ford model version but nothing for the C10’s.
I am still thinking of the color matched Gaylords hard cover but…$$$$$$

Re: LWB Tonneau Cover

While Gaylords still offers lids for the 67-72"s, short and long. (purchased one, see in the build thread) They no longer offer paint. You will have to source local for that. Paint will probably add $600-$1,000 to the cost depending where you are.

Re: LWB Tonneau Cover

This one is for a 1973 - GM truck, but I bought it for my 68 C10 and it fits perfectly. It has a lifetime warranty and the vinyl is really heavy. I have had it on for about 2 years with no issues at all.

Do you have a photo Joyridin?
Does your tonneau cover the rails and bed stake pockets?
Thanks, Sam

I have the short bed style. My buddy has the long bed. If you want a pic of mine, I can take it.

Yes, it covers the rails and the stake pockets.

Re: LWB Tonneau Cover

I got mine from a place in Orange County ca. Dickson. Dicks. Can’t remember pricey but well worth the money to not worry about what’s in the bed. Trying to find receipt.

Crafttec makes a real nice cover for a great price. https://www.crafteccovers.com/1967-7...-Bed_p_15.html. I am getting ready to buy one for my long bed.

Here are ht epics of the TonnoPro cover. This is listed as a 73-88 or something like that. Can't beat it for $300. It is a tri-fold set-up.

Re: LWB Tonneau Cover -TruXedo Lo Pro Soft Roll Up Truck Bed Tonneau Cover -578001-Fi

Another sharp truck Joyriding
That fit is exactly what I was aiming for, covering the bed rails and stake pockets. The fitment looks good.
So a 1973 to 1988 application? Huh?
Interesting that yet another manufacturer doesn’t offer an exact size for our 1967 to 1972 C10’s.
I think I’ll call them for exact measurements on the 8 ft bed model.

Thanks for following up with the photos and info

Re: LWB Tonneau Cover -TruXedo Lo Pro Soft Roll Up Truck Bed Tonneau Cover -578001-Fi

This spring a friend sold his 2019 F350 and didn’t sell his tonneau cover with it. So when he went to sell it I was curious. He was gracious enough to send it home with me to see if it would fit.

Fit, it does!

It’s real easy to roll up and store. Lays flat thanks to the built in tarp supports. Stays tight.

Sounds good.
Hopefully you’ll follow up with some photos for us.
I’m interested in a rollup version myself for easy full bed access when needed.
