binary a/c switch wiring
I know this has been covered many times, but I still have a question or two. Here goes LS! swap in my 78 Silverado. Completing my factory, a/c connections (factory harness) using a new type 134 compressor and a factory binary switch. Bought this truck in pieces so I have no idea how these wires connect. seems dark green and light green wires are factory for the ac system.

Re: binary a/c switch wiring
I am thinking of just running interior instrument a/c switch power to the binary and run the other wire from the binary to the compressor. This is assuming the binary runs open with power to it and the high pressure in the system would shut the power off. Seems too simple to work.

Re: binary a/c switch wiring
perfect. thanks
one more question. I bought a factory replacement binary switch . Is there a difference in factory r12 and r134 freon in the switch itself. . DO i need to install a 134 switch instead of the factory R12. |
