Fuel prices

What are they where you live? Central CA is typically about average for the state, not the highest or lowest. $3.89 is crazy, I’ll have to be a lot more thoughtful about planning errands.

Re: Fuel prices

$2.89 here for 87 octane. Was under $2.00 before the first of the year. Draw your own conclusions there is all I can say.

$1.30 a liter here in Nova Scotia. 3.78 liters in a US gallon = $4.91 Canadian dollars, about $4.20 a US gallon in US dollars.a real deal.

Re: Fuel prices

Me and the family just returned from a two week California road trip. My wife took this picture but it was even higher in the tourist driven areas - we saw $4.99/gallon for 87 octane around Lake Tahoe.

Re: Fuel prices

I understand supply and demand. I dont understand how it can be twice as much though in parts of the country compared to others. This isn't a third world nation ... is it?

Its getting very close to four bucks here.

Re: Fuel prices

Depends on how much the states tax the gas. California and PA are real high that I know of off the top of my head. We are running about 2.59 for corn induced 87 and about 2.99 for ethanol free 87.
