12SI Alternator

I bought this 94A 12SI alternator new from O'Reilly about two years ago. I've put about 7000 miles on it in that time, and it has worked flawlessly. It fits the original 67-72 brackets. I no longer need it because I switched to a CS130 alternator based on recommendations for an EFI installation.

Also included are the conversion plug adapters required to convert from an original externally regulated setup. You can pop the terminals out of your original alternator connector and pop them into the replacement connector. The larger connector plugs into the harness in place of the original voltage regulator. I don't remember where I bought the conversion adapter, but it is this type:

This alternator goes for $128.99 + $16.00 core, and the conversion plug adapters go for $22.50 + shipping.

$80 shipped.

Money order only.

Bump and a free plug for ya. That is the same alternator I bought from O'Reilly's back in 2018 after having electrical problems.

It's a very nice unit, glad I got it (and fixed my problems, thanks to some very helpful board members). Good luck with the sale!

Re: 12SI Alternator

To bad I miss this one, switching to a internal regulated alternator has been on my list for some time.

Though how does the dash gauge react to this change out? Sorry to ask in a sale thread...
