Nice work! Hopefully paint jail doesn't get them.

Re: Someone else's truck. '48 Chev

Well the truck got picked up today, unfortunately not going straight to paint. They said they might just paint it themselves, due to the paint shops being backed up. Hope to see it on the road soon. SO had a little photo shoot with my truck.

Nice, but not a fan of lowered vehicles of any kind. Have has TWO lowered cars literally destroyed by road debris i could not avoid. Seems road hazards here range from tree parts to complete bench vises. Luckily one was a diesel passat and they still paid top dollar when they forced me to turn it in. Was wondering if same airbag system could quickly raise ride height up like 6" quickly??????

It's not every ones cup of tea. I have a lifted Jeep and my lowered truck. If you check out "My '52 GMC Build" I do road trips with my lowered truck pulling our camper, defiantly need to keep watch though. The '48 chevy only has a 2" drop.

Re: Someone else's truck. '48 Chev

the widened box/narrow fenders did not seem as obvious as I thought. I like it.

Thanks again, and keep us posted with your next project.

Ya I wasn't sure how it would look, but now I think I might do it again. One advantage I found is you can set your fender to tire width clearance to whatever you want.
