Local Blazer auction

Local car/truck storage area went bankrupt and had an auction yesterday. They had a first generation Blazer included. I went and previewed it before the auction and thought I might be able to get it for some parts we are looking for. It has not moved or run for a long time, but was fairly complete. Even had the under dash speaker. Look at the pictures if you want. It needed to be removed on a trailer. The Blazer was bid up over $7,000!! Is it just me, or is that crazy?

Re: Local Blazer auction

Just crazy what prices have become. I bought my 70 about 10 years ago for like $650 and it was in better shape than that one.

Not crazy at all!
These trucks are easy to restore and they bring big bucks. $7K is reasonable IMO

Re: Local Blazer auction

I feel like in that condition it should at least have factory seats to reach that price. I do like those slots though!

Dang.., where is this yard? Did anyone else scroll down the link and see all the other cars and trucks listed?

Re: Local Blazer auction

Same auction at this yard, probably a dozen 67-72s I lost count. The one pictured below went for $3k, some other rollers went for around $500
