Great video. Very nice truck. At the end, love seeing an old truck doing what an old truck is supposed to be doing!

Re: the story of my longhorn video

Love the video! I'm just starting my journey with my 1971 C20 Longhorn. The more I researched the truck the more I fell in love with it.
Just bought it back in January with a 402 big block. I'm currently working on replacing the bed wood to get the truck road worthy for the summer.

Re: the story of my longhorn video

My experience with small blocks has been very different. We've been great friends for so long, doing a swap has yet to get a thought. I get why guys do this and you did a job worthy of the truck, and such a fresh one! It's your truck, you've treated her well for many years, and she's ready for many more to come, with a truckload of class wherever it goes

Thanks! i really didn't want to do it. i have tried my best to keep it original, i just have to have it work well and be reliable. i still have the motor and will get it running well on the stand. working on a 69 k10 burb now that may end up with it.

good news is i did nothing to the truck that could not be switched back!

That's the thing there. You went 100% and bought complete (low mile) donor. It's all off the shelf GM
