Re: Basic black interior?

Yeah I was thinking along those lines but unsure if they would even have the scroll pattern

Re: Basic black interior?

Interesting as to what was the OE stock offering.
I am assuming that the 1971 and 72's used the scroll pattern vinyl?

Correct cover for a 1972 ? The photo shows a 1972 door.

Someone here will know the answer.

Re: Basic black interior?

That's a 69/70 CST seat cover you showed. The basic are a more flat vinyl surface with a basket weave pattern compared to the roll & pleat seating areas on the scroll covers. The mid-level, custom in 67-70 and Custom Deluxe 71/72 had cloth seating areas.

I believe that is correct, as seen in the pic from the 71 Brochure (see "Custom" pattern in bottom left corner)

And that seat cover can be purchased in black, here: https://carsinc.com/seat-cover-set-b...nch-15004.html

Re: Basic black interior?

I've never gotten too much in to spids so to me mine comes across as a very plain Jane model

Re: Basic black interior?

It looks like the photo from post #4 matches up to this sales brochure link that shows the four different trim levels.

Yours is a Custom I believe.

I couldn't copy to get the pictures to load so here is the direct Link:

Re: Basic black interior?

Even the base trim level seat could have the "full foam" option.
