67/68 grill support

I need help and pics please on my 68 grill. How does this mount? Either I have the wrong part or the grill is that bent. Thanks.

Your holding it in the right location. Make sure that the trim nut is removed and reinstall it after the bracket is installed.

Re: 67/68 grill support

On the top of the bracket is those 2 welded nuts, the one will line up with the hole in the grill and the hood latch gets bolted to that spot and I think you will need to remove the chevy emblem because the longer leg of the bracket mounts under that emblem and is a hidden bolt. ( actually I think it gets a rivet there and it looks like the old rivet is still in the grill and will need to be removed so a new one can be used.)
