Is for sale in my neighborhood for $1000. It has 16K on it then was wrecked. The engine and the tranny together for 1K. Comes with ECU, harness, etc but that would be one heck of a job right? I just realized I am looking for a q-jet prepared to spend $300 when another 7 would get me that package. Dang!

it will be a lot of work for sure but anything is possible. That is a crazy cheap price. I would love to have one to do a swap with, I have a GMC truck with the 6.2 Gen 5 motor and they are very strong motor.
If you are on a budget and a time frame this probably wont be for you. A lot of money will be spent to get it installed and running even if you do it all your self. The Q-jet will be much quicker...

My buddy bought a 6.2 with transmission out of a 2012 Camaro with 97k for $8000.00 shipped just to give you a reference on value.

A 6.2L at the 5.3L price.
5.3L is 285 to 310hp.
SS model features the 6.2 L LT1 V8 with 455 hp

That's between 145 to 170 free HP!
I figure it's a scam. I see them on F/Book all the time.
I don't know why F/Book puts up with them they are obvious.

Few people with enough money, to have a SS Camaro, are that stupid.
However, I have been wrong before, on how stupid people are.

Just ask to show up in person. They will typically ghost you if it's a scam.
They are looking for someone that will transfer the funds.

No way that’s real… it’s gotta be a scam. The 5th Gen L99/LS3 regularly brings 5K minimum for the power train. The 6th Gen LT stuff brings 8-10K+ all day long.
