I did this on mine.
I have owned it for over 35 years, wipers have never worked better.

Re: ok another answer the the eternal wiper arm thread :D

Aggie its a great thing to be able to get wiper blades easily now. Only thing that makes me laugh about this is that the circled automotive problem child pointed the way to this solution ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: ok another answer the the eternal wiper arm thread :D

Just did this on my 65. These are the same wipers they use for early Bronco wiper swaps so I had a few sets in the garage.
Quick and Easy, wipers work great!

Was just at the junkyard yesterday getting parts for my '96 3500, and looked for some.
Besides Jeeps, these are also on the backs of some Mopar minivans.

I was only looking at Jeeps today and found one. I'll modify it for the left and then find another for the right. Good work to the person who started this.

The replacements I got didn't fit properly and kept falling off, hence another use for gorilla glue.

Re: ok another answer the the eternal wiper arm thread :D

@karlbenz The two advantages I see are they take a standard wiper, and they have more pressure on to the window so they wipe better. I think I have a couple extra sets if anyone is looking.

Re: ok another answer the the eternal wiper arm thread :D

Karl,
I like these for the simple fact you can walk into any store and buy wiper blades also as BFD says they apply better pressure to the blades so they wipe better. You can get em at junkyards for about 5 bucks a piece or orders new pretty ones for about 25 a piece
Brad,
Good to know that one also

thanks for the input. I haven't had any issues yet but if I do I will look into that. good to know. (update) I may look harder into it seeing I could use longer wiper blades

Red I have not played with any no.. I bought the newport wiper kit for my truck lol. I have heard on the flat firewall you can use a 73-87 motor but not on the ones with the bucket style motor mounts.

Has anyone used Trico's? http://tricoproducts.com/About/News/...assicBladeLine
13" - https://wipers123.com/find-wipers/wi.../trico-classic
RockAuto seems to have the blades and arms.

And there is the ceremonial Ecklers units - https://www.ebay.com/itm/Chevy-Or-GM...AoU2:rk:1:pf:0

I would say if your wiper arms are in good shape, these blades would likely work well.

Those round adapters can be priceless, at times, in aligning blades to lie all the way parallel against lower w'shield rubber. Hurts to see a nice truck with wiper-ends an inch or so above w'shield bottom.

those must be the wrong arms then? The rear window arms are what you are needing and they are about the right length Perrotta?
