OK. With Out the lights on the grille guard. Makes more sense. Those are the kind of Halogen driving and fog lights I was talking about. Only mine were in thin chromed steel housings. Fog lights on the lower course and turn signals above them was the idea.
It morphed into better amber fog lamps from Sears, and mounting into 71/72-style cut-outs in a chromed front ['68] bumper. First mounted on the '68 Stepside, then dismounted after getting tweaked in a freak fenderbender. And so I put the stock white bumper back on. Eight or ten years later, after hitting a deer with my '67 K/10 Suburban [w/454 BBC], I pulled the bent chrome bumper [w/o fogs] and ran it over carefully with the pickup. That straightened it enough to play with. With a '68 front clip from a junkyard, I remounted the chrome bumper onto the Sub, and refitted the lights, and the Sub was back on the road. [Until an engine fire 5 years later.]

Hey Doc, Did you need measurements on my tool box? Or were you just thinking out loud? It's deeper than the later generation of Cross Bed Toolboxes. That's good and bad. Good for fitting more stuff inside. Bad for sliding sheets of 3/4'' plywood underneath. Only 6 or 8. The rest have to stick out another 2 feet or so.

Who's got one of these? Just in case anyone was wondering this is not mine. I've bought some odd stuff over the years but not one of these.

Re: Period Correct Accessaries for your truck...

Another set of Jackman "style" wheels I picked up a few days ago. Going to get them polished up and install them onto my Jimmy.

The have a stamp on the back that looks similar to a peace sign symbol.

Still not sure if the maker of these, my wheels have a peace sign casting stamp on the backs also.

Just picked up this late 70's CB Antenna ... a little newer than I want but finding early CB Antennas is challenging.

Good find, how did they mount up, i had to cut the wire where the little glass nubs came out on the bulb, plus, my screens mounted inside headlight retaining rings

Post up a pic of how you mounted them

A lot of manufactures were really liberal on specks ... I will be running a Kris 50 with a Gray 300 for the looks.

Jim – The K20 is at a local resto shop getting clear protectant film applied to the hood and lower body and a swap to the correct radiator. I had the shop add these screens as part of that work and wasn’t told of any issues. I’ll post back once the K20 is home and share the instructs. I’ve got another unopened pack of the same screens that I’ll add to my Blazer if I like the look so am curious myself. From what I can tell there are clips that mount deep to the retaining rings and which hold the screens in place.

An American manufacturer grossly exaggerating the values of his product? I'm shocked, Sir. Shocked!

Yeah, that's what I thought mounted with clips, I just used deeper retaining rings, cut the wire at the glass nubs, and the stone guards set flat against the glass, but this will negate the protection of the stone guards

If you need the demension of my retaing ring, I could take it apart and measure it, just let me know

Horizontal wire cut at 10 o`clock

Out of 100`s of ways to do something, this is just another example
