Anyone try to fit a 67-72body on a 99 and newer frame. Obviously it's not a bolt on . Anyone ever try and how much body list would be considered minimum

Re: Body swap

I'm not sure where to look, but I several years ago I saw one that had the 67-72 body with the interior of the newer truck, including the dash. If I can find it I'll post the link.

This isn't the one I was thinking of, but it will do. It's a 68 body on an 01 frame:

and another one:

Happens quite a bit, but unfortunately, the frame hangs down terribly low.

Re: Body swap

There is another one in Alaska a guy put a SWB on a Tahoe frame. Got a long way and quit posting. I really wanted to see where he got.

Re: Body swap

What about a van frame? I have a 2001 van. Been meaning to get a tape measure out and check.
