Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’

Thanks guys
I think it probably did vary by plant
And maybe even what they had on the shelf at the plant
I decided to go black
Just think it is the best look
-
I like to put the trucks back according to spid
Which is parchment

I’ve got both parchment interior as well as black
When I see all that black so far
It almost makes me want to go all black
I doubt I’ll do it
But what are your Thoughts??

This is an involuntary compulsion for me with original trucks. If it’s already modified, all good. But if it’s close to original it’s gotta go all the way!

The truck looks as original as they come
No rust, everything works
But
It’s been ‘modified’ in a Big way
Was
Originally 1/2 ton automatic
At some point someone went through a lot of work
And made it 3/4 ton 4spd

That’s another quandary
It’s still got CHEYENNE10 badges on it
Should they be 20’s ?

I like black and CHEYENNE 20 badges- just my opinion. Whatever you do will look good

Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’

I, too, like parchment. There's one exception, though, Eric: how are you planning to use this truck? I had to be somewhat careful with the parchment seat on my '71 Custom Deluxe. Not a big deal, because I didn't work with it, but it may come into play if you're ever dirty around these old Chevy pickups.

The Arkansas K10 Cheyenne I'm building has saddle dash pad and column with body color vents. Built in Fremont.
