Lightbulb Turbo LS 72 c10 stepper build.

Hey guys, gonna try this build thread thing. My name is Edward Green out of North Carolina and I’ve got a 1972 shorty stepside. It’s lowered in 15x8 rallies and Ive had it about 9 months. I pulled the motor about 4 months ago to do an Ls swap and then decided to go turbo. So I have a fresh built 5.3 with k1 forged rods, summit forged pistons, summit stage 2 cam kit with dual valve springs, stock 862 reworked heads. Vs racing gen 2 78/75 Denmah kit. Hooker turbo headers. my crossover pipe and the rest of my hot side piping was done by Nigel Alexander at Brutal speed and Fab in Maiden Nc and it Turned out badass. I’ve got a stock 4l80e right now and I’m waiting on my billet triple disk converter from tampa performance specialties in Florida. Driveshaft is done and I’m really really close. All new AN fuel lines and a Boyd’s under bed fuel cell with an aeromotive fuel pump and snake eater 1500cc injectors. Hope to finish this in a few months and get it on the dyno. Then start working on interior, body, and wheels.

I'll be following along. What engine management will you be using?

Looks an awesome build. Did you build the engine yourself?

Looking good! I'll be following along - I'm in the research stage of a turbo LS build for an OBS Chevy.

I’ll be running Holley terminator X max. It’s mounted in the glovebox. I’ll post a pic later

I had Brian at Kings Machine shop in Burlington NC put the bottom end together and I assembled the rest.
