Re: 4 -5 lug Center Caps, lug nuts and lug covers

I am pretty sure they will. I think I have a ralley of that vintage, they are the ones that have little square slots right, Like this......

I'll put one of the caps on my wheel like that and post a picture asap.

Re: 4 -5 lug Center Caps, lug nuts and lug covers

you will have to buy conversion lug nuts to run these centers on a pre 88-98 body style truck...the newer trucks have a 14 mm stud and the older trucks have a 1/2" stud.....there is a guy on ebay that used to sell the lug nuts...not sure if he is still around

Re: 4 -5 lug Center Caps, lug nuts and lug covers

I tested the lug nuts I have on both a '72 and '77 stud and it threds correctly. 1/2 linch is 12.7 mm so I'd think I would have wobble if they were the incorrect lugs, so I think I have the conversions. These were bought at a swap meet, so I didn't know for sure, that's why I tested them.

Here are the caps on a 80 rally on a 72 blazer. Please nevermind the crappy wheel and tire.

Let me know.

Re: 4 -5 lug Center Caps, lug nuts and lug covers

so the lugnuts go on first, and then the centercaps go one second, and then the black lugnut covers go on third....right...

Re: 4 -5 lug Center Caps, lug nuts and lug covers

yeah the half tons were the same 1/2 studs for years, up until they switched to metric on the 88 pick-ups and later on the '92 subs.

sounds like he has the conversion lugnuts that you need, should bolt right on for you

Re: 4 -5 lug Center Caps, lug nuts and lug covers

Yeah, my '72 has 1/2 inch studs and I also tested them on a '77 1/2 ton front crossmember I have. They both fit like a glove.

Fat Hoe, I sent a PM back.

Got one other guy in front of you (see the main thread). If I don't hear anything from him by tomorrow, I'll send you a PM.

Re: 4 -5 lug Center Caps, lug nuts and lug covers

The caps arrived and I am impressed . They were individually wrapped , well packaged , and in better shape than described . Thanks Chad for taking the extra effort to make sure they arrived in the same condition as when they left .
