Best budget locker posi or spool for a 14 bolt semi float

I just install a year 14 bolt semi float rear in my truck it seems to work well. My problems is my last rear was a posi and this is a one legger. What's the cheapest way to get both tires to spin. I'm not gona weld it tho. This is a low budget fun beater truck but I do plan to put some miles on it. I hear spools aren't good for the street but it's a big old crew cab I'm not going to be turning very sharp so I was wondering if I could get away with it. Or would a locker be a better option or just find a used limited slip to throw in it. Are the 6 and 8 lugs the same besides the axles for this year I did find a used limited slip rear for 300 but I need 6 lug and it's 8

Re: Best budget locker posi or spool for a 14 bolt semi float

Most of the SF 14 bolts that come out of 4x4 trucks have the eaton limited-locking rear setup. A lot of people say a lot of bad stuff about them but it does work. All z71 trucks have the eaton locking system and a lot of the regular 2wd and 4wd trucks have them. If you aren't familiar with them it basically limits to stop wheel spin, then locks posi if that doesn't work, when torque demand falls it unlocks.
